Finding the best bags and cart to carry your clubs around

Once you have a set of golf clubs you are going to need a bag to carry them in, you may also find that you want a cart as well. Having the right bag will make it much easier to get your clubs around the course which will make the game much more fun.

The first thing that you are going to have to decide on when you are choosing a golf bag is whether or not you intend to carry it or if you are going to put it on a cart. There are bags that are made specifically to be carried on a cart; they would be pretty heavy to have to carry around the course. If you are going to be carrying the bag the biggest consideration is probably going to be the weight of the bag, you want one that is as light as possible.

The next thing that you are going to have to look at is that you get a bag that can carry all of your clubs. All golf bags can carry the basic set of clubs however a lot of golfers carry more clubs than the basic set. If you plan to carry extra clubs you are going to have to make sure that your bag has space for them. You are also going to want to make sure that you can get your clubs in and out of the bag easily; this may be a problem if you are using a smaller bag.

The other big thing that you are going to want to make sure of when you are choosing a bag is that there is a lot of pocket space. You are going to carry quite a bit of stuff around the course with you and you will need to have room for it. This would be things like balls and towels as well as extra pencils and distance cards. You not only have to have room for them but you want to be able to access them easily while you are on the course.

When it comes to choosing a golf cart to bring your clubs around with you the big thing here is making sure that you get one that is easy to pull. It should roll smoothly and have a handle that is at a comfortable height. Obviously you are also going to want to make sure that you bag fits onto it. One thing that you do want to watch for is the height of your bag when it is on the cart, if it is too high you may have a hard time getting the clubs in and out of the bag. You may want to consider getting an electric cart which will make it easier to get around the course.
